Repose

A collagraph. This plate is made on plexiglass. It is made by arranging plants, and securing them to the plate with little glue dots called Zot. Then plumber's tape is laid down over the composition, and it is burnished. The plate is inked many times, in different ways to create the background and details. To clean the plate, baby oil is used to wipe it clean.
