Garden Whimsey

Garden Whimsey is a playful original collagraph of dahlias. Brooke Remmert creates it by drawing fine line work in gel medium on mat board. She then seals the plate with brushed-on gel medium, inks it, and prints it by hand. The raised lines leave a richly textured impression that celebrates the shape, rhythm, and charm of the dahlia garden.

The print measures 11" x 15" and is unframed. It is best cropped slightly when matted and framed, which lets you tailor the composition to your frame and wall. This is a cheerful piece of original floral art for a cozy corner, kitchen, bedroom, or bohemian-style living space, and it works well in a grouping with other botanical prints from the Hummingbird Fine Arts dahlia collection.
