The Hamsa is an ancient symbol that crosses cultures. In Judaism it is the Hand of Miriam, in Islam it is the Hand of Fatima, in Christianity it is the Hand of Mary. It is a protection amulet that is older than Judaism.This is a Hamsa, created the time of the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose is to honor the precious lives that have been lost, and to honor all First Responders. It is with the deepest respect that I wish to pay homage to all that have been effected by terrible virus, that has touched the whole world. My prayer is that science and the medical world are able to be successful in ridding our world of this horrendous plague.
